Established in 1893 at Lombard College, Alpha Xi Delta provides leadership development and service opportunities for women through a network of nationwide chapters. Through a partnership with AllOne Health, Alpha Xi Delta operates the Talk One-2-One program, a counseling service that invites members to speak one-on-one with professionally trained counselors about topics such as roommate issues, depression, substance abuse, and other common stressors.
The confidential service is open to all Alpha Xi Delta members and advisors, as well as parents of members, 24 hours a day. By offering support, encouragement, and practical tools, the Talk One-2-One program empowers Alpha Xi Delta members to advocate for themselves and positively deal with challenges associated with college life.
