Alpha Xi Delta Fundraises in Support of Autism with AmaXIng Challenge

After serving as account manager with Wheels Up, Linsey Kornblau accepted her current position as a client service associate at Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., in 2018. Dedicated to charitable work, Linsey Kornblau earned the title of philanthropist of the year from Alpha Xi Delta.

Seeking to empower women since its establishment in 1893, Alpha Xi Delta connects its members in sisterhood while training them in leadership and encouraging community service. Through its key fundraising event known as the AmaXIng Challenge, the fraternity gathers funds for the organization Autism Speaks.

The AmaXIng Challenge encompasses several events that engage participation in various areas. Football FrenXI provides bracketed tournament competitions in flag football. Students can engage in karaoke competitions through Karaoke for a Cause. Step It Up involves those on campus or in the local community coming together for a fun run/walk. Those who enjoy puzzles can compete in Puzzlepalooza, working in teams to be the first to complete a puzzle. Each of these events raises funds to support those with autism and raise public awareness about it.
